I've been working with Forever Labs since 2017 to harvest patient’s bone marrow stem cells for cryopreservation. We have refined the harvest technique to make the procedure as smooth and painless as possible for the patient. We also offer therapeutic injections of the stem cells for those patients who want to use stem cells at the time of their harvest for their joint issues.
Dr. Thomas Youm is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon and Clinical Professor at the NYU Grossman School of Medicine, where he teaches medical students, residents and sports medicine fellows. He serves as Director of Hip Arthroscopy at the NYU Langone Orthopedic Hospital and leads an active research group on outcomes and imaging techniques for femoroacetabular impingement and other hip disorders. A native of New York, Dr.
Youm earned his B.A. cum laude at Yale University and his M.D. at NYU, followed by residency in orthopaedic surgery and a sports-medicine fellowship at Kerlan-Jobe. With more than 150 peer-reviewed publications and 300 presentations at national and international meetings, he is recognized annually for both academic excellence and excellence in clinical care. He has been a partnered physician with Forever Labs since 2017.
