Dr. John Santa Ana is a Military Veteran and is a Board Certified Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PM&R) physician and Electrodiagnostic Medicine specialist with over 15 years of experience serving patients in the Military and his community. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Nutrition and Food Science from Wayne State University and his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from New York Institute of Technology College of Osteopathic Medicine. Dr. Santa Ana completed his internship and residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at the prestigious Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington, DC. He is certified in Regenerative Medicine from the American Society of Interventional Pain Physicians. He specializes in Interventional Joints and Spine treatments. Dr. Santa Ana practices at the Michigan Center for Regenerative Medicine in Rochester Hills.
He has a passion for Musculoskeletal Medicine, Interventional Orthopedics, and Regenerative Medicine. Dr. Santa Ana is an active member of professional organizations including the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, the American Society of Interventional Pain Physicians, The Interventional Orthobiologic Foundation, and The Orthobiologic Institute. He is an expert in Orthobiologic treatments and has presented in national conferences and is a Physician instructor for training in this field.
