He graduated from Rutgers New Jersey Medical School in 1993 followed by orthopedic residency training at the University of Pennsylvania and a fellowship in shoulder and sports medicine at the University of Pittsburgh in 1998 Dr. Klimkiewicz serves as Associate Professor in the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at Georgetown University and holds the prestigious position of head team physician for both the Washington Capitals NHL team and Georgetown University athletics. His clinical expertise focuses on joint preservation, particularly of the knee, along with all aspects of knee and shoulder surgery.
Board-certified and affiliated with multiple highly regarded hospitals including Sibley Memorial Hospital, MedStar Georgetown University Hospital, and MedStar National Rehabilitation Hospital, Dr. Klimkiewicz specializes in treating complex sports injuries, arthritis, and joint replacements.
